Synopsis:
The health and life sciences sectors continue to play a pivotal role in fostering sustainable development. The symbiotic relationship between human well-being and environmental health underscores the importance of integrating sustainability into all facets of healthcare and life sciences. These aims include medical efforts focused on protecting individuals' well-being, such as addressing the antimicrobial resistance challenge and mitigating the likelihood of outbreaks and global health crises. Conversely, endeavors to tackle climate change, guaranteed access to clean water and land, enhanced sanitation facilities to improve the quality of life, and foster sustainable innovation and infrastructure for environmental preservation hold equal significance. This year, ICGSTM 2025 is once again proud to feature this dedicated track focusing on sustainable development within the health and life sciences domain. Together, we can harness the power of knowledge and collaboration to forge pathways towards sustainable healthcare, environmental stewardship, and collective well-being.

Synopsis:
The business and management track welcomes academicians, practitioners, and students to share their research, case studies, and theoretical explorations on several influential trends that are shaping the future of work. This year, we are exploring different approaches businesses are taking to manage both concrete and abstract work costs by offering innovative benefits such as housing subsidies and caregiver support, indicating a notable shift towards comprehensive employment structures. The emergence of generative AI demands a thorough reassessment of job functions, emphasizing the incorporation of AI-enhanced processes to enhance human work rather than replace it. The efficacy and ramifications of implementing a four-day workweek on employee well-being and productivity, as well as the growing significance of conflict resolution abilities in the current tense work environment, will be subjects of discussion. Researchers critically evaluate GenAI's challenges and opportunities, advocating for a differing deployment strategy. The transition from focusing on degrees to emphasizing skills in hiring criteria signifies a shift towards inclusivity, expanding the pool of talented individuals. We also investigate how organizations are incorporating climate change response strategies and disaster preparedness into their employee benefits, demonstrating a strong dedication to sustainability and safety. The track aims to show how diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives are becoming more integrated into business operations and how career paths are changing in response to evolving workforce expectations. We welcome submissions that provide creative viewpoints on navigating these trends to improve organizational competitiveness and promote a sustainable, fair business environment.
