COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) (https://www.comsats.edu.pk/), one of the leading universities of Pakistan, was established in 1998. COMSATS University is a project of the Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS) (https://comsats.org/), an intergovernmental organization established in 1994 with 27 member-countries and headquarters in Islamabad, Pakistan. CUI – Abbottabad, as a major Campus of the COMSATS University Islamabad, was established in 2001 and is currently a key contributor to science and technology in the region.  

Along with 5,000 students and 19 undergraduate and 28 graduate programs, CUI - Abbottabad (https://www.cuiatd.edu.pk/) has 14 departments, including the Department of Environmental Sciences, established in 2004, and is one of the pioneer departments in Pakistan in this field. The department covers key areas such as ecology, climate change, natural resource management, hydrology, pollution control technologies, biodiversity, and environmental policy. 

The Department comprises highly qualified faculty and active researchers, contributing to both national and international scientific research and teaching, with a particular focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, such as SDGs-3, SDGs-6, and SDGs-13. The Department aims to produce skilled graduates, including international students from various regions of the world, with a focus on sustainable development and environmentally focused policymaking. 

In line with our ambition, the Department of Environmental Sciences - CUI Abbottabad - is going to co-organize the International Conference on Green Sustainable Technology and Management (ICGSTM 2025) in collaboration with INTI International University, Malaysia.

Mazaya University College was established in 2012  when the Iraqi cabinet granted an educational profession license to establish Mazaya University College in Dhi Qar( a southern Iraqi province). 

The college obtained recognition by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in 2013 after fulfilling all the requirements needed for the license above. Mazaya was  composed, at its start, of the departments English, Arabic, economics, medical laboratory techniques,computer technology engineering, Media. Other departments such as pharmacy, law, civil engineering, accounting, and business administration were opened in successive years. 

The college aims to develop and serve  knowledge for the the community via providing it with competent cadres.The college has participated in many international scientific conferences such as the international conference affiliated with the Arab Organization for Quality Education, which was held in Jordan in 2022. As for university ranking, Mazaya university college is there in Times Impact Ranking, Webometric, UIGreen Metric, RUR and the Iraqi National University Ranking since 2021

Al Rafidain University College (RUC) is an Iraqi private university which was established in 1988 and is made up of 16 departments in the medical, engineering, and human sciences fields. The Dakshin Dinajpur University is a State University and it was established under the West Bengal Act XIX of 2018, Dt. 1st October 2018, in accordance with The Dakshin Dinajpur University Act, 2018, Dt. 1st October 2018.

Southwest Jiaotong University Hope College, established in 2009, is a full-time undergraduate engineering university. Founded through a collaboration between Southwest Jiaotong University and the Huaxi Hope Group, the college was established with exacting standards and a lofty vision, focusing on the distinctive feature of rail transportation course. 

The college has established the School of Rail Transportation, School of Civil Engineering, School of Business, School of Continuing Education, School of International Education, School of Marxism, Department of Foreign Languages, Basic Course Department, and Sports Department，offering nearly 50 undergraduate and specialty programs covering disciplines such as engineering, management, liberal arts, and natural sciences. The Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Diponegoro was founded as a center for the advancement of psychology rooted in Indonesian family values and responsive to global changes. Initially established in 1995 as a study program under the Faculty of Medicine, it became the 11th independent faculty within Diponegoro University in 2007.
